At some point on this path, every spiritual practitioner faces a choice.
Do you soften the truth to be more palatable?
Do you translate your work into language that feels safer for others — even if it no longer feels honest to you?
Or do you choose honesty over comfort?
I’m choosing honesty.
Let’s call it what it is
The energy healing work I do with animals is absolutely what many people would label as “woo woo.”
And I’m no longer interested in dressing it up to look like something else.
Before every healing session, I prepare by connecting with my spiritual healer helpers — as well as the animal’s own spiritual healer helpers. This is where the information comes from. This is how I know what the animal needs, what they’re carrying, and how best to support them.
During a session, I may also call in archangels to assist with specific aspects of healing when that support is required.
This is not a metaphor.
It is not symbolic language.
It is not something I say to make the work sound poetic.
It is the foundation of how I work.
I could not do this work without the “woo woo” side of it — and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
Why I’m no longer explaining it away
Something has been brought to my attention recently — not as a judgement, but as a moment of clarity.
What I’ve come to learn is that many practitioners receive intuitive information, work with unseen guidance, or feel supported by something beyond the physical — yet choose to describe that experience in very different ways.
Some people explain their work using language that feels more grounded, scientific, or familiar — instinct, nervous system cues, subconscious processing, or pattern recognition. Those explanations aren’t wrong. In many cases, they’re completely valid and genuinely reflect how that practitioner understands their work.
I understand why this choice is made. For some, it feels safer. For others, it feels more appropriate for their audience. And for many, it’s simply where they are on their own path.
I don’t take issue with that at all.
For me, though, continuing to explain my work in a way that omits its spiritual reality no longer feels honest. What once felt like translation now feels like dilution — and that’s a sign that it’s time for me to speak more plainly.
This isn’t about doing it “better” or “more correctly.”
It’s about doing it more truthfully, in a way that’s aligned with who I am and how I work.
Every spiritual healing tradition involves non-physical intelligences
This is another truth that often gets glossed over.
Across cultures, across centuries, across belief systems — spiritual healing has always involved non-physical intelligences.
They may be called angels, guides, ancestors, helping spirits, higher beings, or divine forces — but the presence of unseen support is not new, fringe, or modern.
What is modern is our discomfort talking about it.
What is modern is the pressure to sanitise spirituality so it feels intellectually safe.
But removing that element doesn’t make the work more legitimate — it just makes it incomplete.
Making “woo woo” sound less irresponsible
Here’s the thing:
Woo woo doesn’t become irresponsible because it’s spiritual.
It becomes irresponsible when it’s vague, performative, or disconnected from integrity.
I don’t promise miracles.
I don’t replace veterinary care.
I don’t claim to “fix” animals.
What I do is show up prepared, grounded, and in service — listening deeply, responding to what presents, and working with respect for the animal’s emotional and energetic boundaries.
This isn’t about convincing anyone to believe what I believe.
It’s about being clear enough that people can choose.
If this isn’t for you — that’s okay
I don’t want to mislead anyone.
I don’t want clients who feel uncomfortable with how I work.
I don’t want to dilute the truth so that more people say yes.
If the spiritual nature of this work doesn’t resonate with you, you’re absolutely free to opt out — with my full respect.
But if something in you feels relieved reading this…
If you appreciate transparency over polish…
If you value honesty more than explanation…
Then you may be exactly where you’re meant to be.
This is me choosing alignment
This post isn’t a declaration of belief.
It’s a declaration of integrity.
I’m no longer interested in hiding the most essential part of my work to make others more comfortable.
This is how I work.
This is what I rely on.
And this is the space I hold — openly, responsibly, and with deep respect for the animals who trust me.
Until next time...
